Bebe kids early
Big Guy loves the wood stove

Bebe's baby was just 6 pounds at birth.

The ducks check out the dog house
Bebe kidded early, and needless to say, it was quite a surprise. I thought we had about 2 weeks yet. No one was home and luckily everything went well. Even toby let them alone in their barn.
It could be she was off schedule by the terrible shift we have had in weather. It has been very cold and snowy, even for here. Big Guy the rooster now follows me inside in the mornings when I do chores to cozy up to the woodstove. You have not heard happy rooster sounds until you have heard a rooster who has discovered the comforts of wood heat.
I recently got some muscovy ducks. I am hoping I can enclose them in with the goats, but they have figured out how to get out of every enclosure I have tried so far. They have made themselves at home, and like to nest everywhere.
