Kimber Hamm, 1952-2005

Kimber “Kim” (Hollis) Age 53, died on Sunday, October 30, 2005, in Aiken, South Carolina. Kim was the wife of Dennis W. Hamm. She was born on April 21, 1952 in Worcester, MA, the daughter of James E. and Priscilla (Janney) Hollis. She was a horse woman. Kim was a member of the National Barrel Horse Association, the Empire Meat Goat Association and received her Associate’s Degree from the State University of New York at Delhi. She is survived by her husband, Dennis; a stepson and daughter-in-law, Michael and Christine Hamm of Auburn, NY; stepdaughter and son-in-law, Carolyn and Philip Smith of Pine Plains, NY; two grandchildren, Colleen and Monica Smith; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Stephen Hollis of Casper, WY, Robert Hollis of Providence, RI, James and Meredith Hollis of Wellesley, MA; a sister, Priscilla “Jan” Driscoll of Providence, RI; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 4, 2005, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC, 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2005, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Stissing Mountain Dairy 4H Club, c/o Carolyn Smith, 72 Righters Corners Rd., Pine Plains, NY 12567.
