Can't ignore the chickens

On the nicer days, the chicken coop doors are opened and they can run around in the snow. Except, chickens don't like snow too well and stick to established paths. Here. Checkers, a marans welsumer cross rooster,leads his girls to a spot of open grass.
A marans hen leads the second wave.
Marans rooster plucks some hay from a round bale by the barn.
Gary takes water up the hill to Tucker and his girls.
