Storm hits!

Storm hit today. Wind and lots of lake effect snow. Drifts were almost 2 feet in places; overall total close to a foot. The view from the middle of the drive looking down - the hills are obscured by snow.

I am not alone as I take these pictures. Here is a small pullet who has eluded capture the past few days. I finally caught her in snow that was too deep for her to run in! I warm her up before placing her in the coop with the rest of her sisters. Gary has already brought the cows down from the field and they are ensconced in the barn along with the field roosters.
