Memorial Day
Like last year, we used the Memorial Day weekend to plant potatoes. Unlike last year, we had no calves born at the same time!
The weather was hot, the skies were clear and sunny, and I got sunburned as I picked rocks and planted potatoes in their place.
We are keeping the vegetable garden on the small side this year. Two kinds of peas, two kinds of beans, red chard, rasishes, onions. We are still getting frost at night so adding other things right now is iffy.
