Betty has her calf

Foggy morning today in the cow field.
Betty had her calf last night, just a few days earlier than expected. Another bull calf.
He is an angus calf and the labor was very easy for Betty.
It wasn't so easy for Gary though. Since she went into labor at sunset, he was concerned about coyotes who populate the hills all around us. He slept out in the field with them last night. And the coyotes were howling!
JW's calf is doing well.
