In the Spring of Things

 

We are in the midst of what is probably our January thaw (yes I know the date! but we never got a thaw in January!). Temps are in the 50s and nights are warm too. Snow is melting and the chickens are happy to see some grass.

 

Of course we still have snow. And ice.

 

And mud.

 

But the snow *is* slowly melting and turning into water, and the ducks are very very happy about that.

 

Murphy likes this weather too.

 

I am actually not sure about this guy.

 

The turkeys are exploring everywhere.

 

But the best part is, the chickens are laying lots of eggs once again. I know a lot of people who will be very happy about that!
